Situated on a sloped, south facing, garden overlooking a small town in Saxony. The client, an elderly couple, invited us to design them a new home. On a tight budget, the principle requirment of the brief was to house all neccessary living accomodation on one upper level for ease of access to steet level and take advantage of the stunning view of the valley and town below, with guest and garden facilities on the lower garden level. On a long site our main priority was not to inpinge on the old fruit and rose garden and set the house delicately into the slope while providing easy access to the street & garden.
