Hynes extention - 2011

Commisioned to design the extension for a growing family on a housing estate in Limerick city. With the need for 2 extra bedrooms & a larger living/ dining space towards the rear garden, a traditional basic wooden form extends from the ground floor with little interuption using sculptural eyes on the roof to bring varying degrees of light and views to the night sky from the mazzanine level sleeping area in the roof space. The wooden form wraps around both front & rear on the ground floor
